I can’t believe Christmas is all over for another year and it’s the second week of 2010 already. Haven’t been too good at writing my blog over the past couple of months and so I’m making it a New Years Resolution to be much better this year.
So far this year, even with all the lovely white stuff on the ground, I seem to have been really busy with both running the jewellery business and my teaching.
I’m planning to make 2010 the year that I really exploit the eco/green side of my business. I plan to condense my current ranges, meaning less actual items but giving myself more of a distinct style and identity. Hopefully starting to develop Anna Clifton Jewellery as a proper brand name in high class but ethical designer jewellery and accessories. Currently, I’m intending my main ranges to be

2. Mendhi – sterling silver and gold fine jewellery based on Indian mendhi or henna patterns – my current best selling range.
3. Bridal - concentrating on circlets and more “alternative” style pieces.
I’ll obviously still be able to make all of the other designs on request and will still be more than happy to take on commisisions.
Finally, for today’s post I thought I’d share a few pics of my workshop and some pieces that are “in progress”:
