Recycled Bracelet – River of Stones Day 9

River of Stones Day 9 - Silver & recycled aluminium bracelet

I’ve been updating my website today and have been uploading lots of new pieces in my recycled aluminuim range. So, today’s design is based on the same idea. It would be made in sterling silver with recycled aluminum (obtained from a drinks can) set into clear resin. River of Stones Day 8 – Flutterbys!

I wasn’t very happy with my Tinkerbell inspired piece on Friday night so I’ve revisited it and come up with a much more refined idea. This is a necklace that could be made in ether silver and gold or all gold(white and yellow).

It’s my intention to make a collection of pieces from all of my drawings so hopefully there will be a bit of an exhibition somewhere at the end of all this! If anyone has a gallery and would like to be first to show the collection please get in touch by emailing enquiries@annaclifton.com

Dancing in Brum! River of Stones Day 7

Today I’ve been in Birmingham taking the kids to see a play. As we were walking through the city centre, we came across quite an unusal site for a saturday afternoon in Brum – lots of Morris Dancers! So, todays piece is based on their colourful ribbons. It’s been scribbled down on a scrap of paper while I’m out so you’ll have to imagine the blue stones and gold swirly ribbon parts! X

Tinkerbell inspired brooch

Been to see the Pantomimne Peter Pan at Malvern Theatre tonight. The drawing needs a little more development but you should be able to get the idea. It would be made in highly polished silver with enamel in the coloured sections.
